History: Kobda was the bastard son of an TIE fighter pilot who had one to many to drink on a mission to Myrkr. He grew up the way most children on Myrkr did; with little supervision and little knowledge of the galaxy. He ran with street gangs and mobsters, participating in organized crime that exploited children and the planet's unfriendliness to force users. He dreamt of nothing more than money and power until he encountered the abandoned robes of a Force User. The Jedi whom these robes had adorned at one time had probably been killed while on the planet and his body absorbed into the force. While rifling through the robes Kobda came across a lightsaber that was in working condition but at the time Kobda was too young to be able to handle such a powerful weapon. Instead of selling it on the black market Kobda took the saber as his own and began planning his escape from Myrkr...

Kobda arrived on Coruscant only hoping to find more information about the galaxy's current state yet he found much more. Not used to the hustle and bustle of the city Kobda found that crowds could be rough and had it not been for a mysterious man Kobda would've been trampled. The man noticed Kobda's saber and after quizzing him about it chose to reveal his identity; he was Master Lore, a Jedi Master from Taris. Lore took Kobda under his wing and introduced him to the Jedi Order. Several months pasted and Kobda's training went well but when Lore's old demons began to haunt him Kobda was left without a master. Following several brushes with the darkside and a torture session where Kobda was brutally beaten by Sith Lord Axl Fett, Kobda's faith in the order was low and in a weak moment was persuaded by Shadow Patriarch Lucas to join the Shadow Order. Kobda's stay with the Shadow's didn't last very long for strife within the Shadow faction took away from Kobda's personal training.

Kobda returned to the Jedi where he once again reunited with Lore. His training continued but when Lore was badly injured Kobda was bent on revenge. His anger was only fueled when Jedi Knight Sage stood between him and the revenge he sought and a large rift between Kobda and the rest of the Order was made. Kobda and Lore left the order together in order to further his training but after Kobda's light saber construction Lore disappeared leaving Kobda without a Master.

Kobda returned to Myrkr and spent a good amount of time helping his old Myrkrian friends smuggle spice off the planet. For months Kobda's anger grew until it reached an apex, where in an angry fury the man killed the Jedi padawan Dalziel Kaldoe. Kobda's brash actions caught the eye of the Emperor and it was not before long the Empire tempted Kobda with the promise of riches, power, and even an ambassadorship to the Sith so he could continue his training in the force. The darkness in Kobda jumped at the chance to join the Empire but in the end Kobda resisted and retreated to Nar Shaddaa. Kobda lives as a Gray Jedi now, having acknowledged that the darkside is truly evil but the Jedi and Shadow Orders are flawed. Kobda still fears the darkness in him and as a result uses the spice derivative gliteryll as a way to forget about the darkness in his past.
